Sunday, 27 March 2011. For one reason or another there were only three of us today, and none of the reasons for not turning out had anything to do with the clocks having gone forward and giving us an hour less in bed! We made rapid progress along there, pausing only just long enough to take a couple of photos before dropping down the trail through the trees, off to the left at Sturdy Bank. It eventually becomes shooting track and we follow .

I went out on the Claud Butler. Super Dalesman after a long time today. I wanted to try it out before I start using it to cycle to work from tomorrow. Along the Hart to Haswell walkway and NCN 14. It was a really good ride with some beautiful views of Durham Cathedral. And the little hills around it as I got to Durham. Lunch was a great chilli con carne.
